Koutu Lodge is a large home set in a 2 acre garden, featuring hibiscus and roses. There is a large vegetable garden also. Built overlooking the Hokianga Harbour, there are beautiful rural and sea views. Private decks off guest rooms. There is a guest lounge and games room with pool table.

Tony and Sylvia are a friendly Kiwi couple who enjoy welcoming guests to their home. Tony is a former prison officer and shearing contractor. Sylvia is an office administrator. They have a friendly dog which lives outside. Interests include pig hunting, fishing, gardening, cake decorating, cooking and entertaining. They have an extensive knowledge of the area and are happy to advise you on different activities that can be enjoyed in the Hokianga.
